Vegetable Garden Days

September is surely one of the most beautiful months of the year to explore the gardens of Villandry…and especially its decorative vegetable garden! For a friendly and warm weekend, come celebrate the arrival of autumn. Novice or seasoned gardeners will no doubt leave with lots of ideas in their head and vegetables in their basket!

In the programme:

MEETING WITH THE GARDENERS OF VILLANDRY – from 9:00am to 6:00pm
Villandry undoubtedly owes its fame to the exceptional ensemble formed by its gardens and to the work carried out by its gardeners throughout the year for its upkeep and preservation. During the weekend, they come to meet you. A moment of exchange and sharing around the know-how but also the productions of the vegetable garden!

EXHIBITOR MARKET –  from 9:00am to 6:00pm
Local products, plants, decorations, gardening kits, jewellery… Installed in the heart of the vegetable garden, about twenty exhibitors present their products and creations inspired by the world of gardens.

Activities for the whole family
Guided tours of the gardens, flower arrangement workshop, games of skill, creative workshops and more await young and old for a family discovery of the gardens.
