MEETING AT THE GARDENS
Château de Villandry is taking part in the 20th edition of Rendez-vous aux Jardins!
Aimed at highlighting France’s many public and private parks and gardens, this event invites everyone to come and (re)discover the gardens and learn about the importance of maintaining and preserving this part of our heritage.
Activities will punctuate and enhance your visit throughout the weekend.

In the company of our guides, discover the history of the gardens of Villandry, from the Renaissance to today.

Meeting with the gardeners of Villandry
You have questions ? They surely have the answer! Come and exchange
with the gardeners of Villandry and discover their profession, their know-how and
their tips.
In French – Stand continuously, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Carriage rides
With the Attelages de Villandry, explore the gardens in a different way during a horse-drawn carriage ride.
Regular departures from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and from 2:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
Dried flower workshop
Creative or nature lover? Let yourself be inspired and come and make a delicate buttonhole with dried flowers!
With Géraldine Colin, floral coach, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Continuous workshop. Simultaneous number of places limited on the stand.

Tips for a resilient garden
Faced with climatic aggressions such as drought, heat waves and late spring frost, the gardener sometimes feels helpless. How to protect the garden from all these hazards and make it more resilient? Emilie Boillot from Touraine Terre d’Histoire gives you some methods and tips for a garden where plants are resisting!
