The Nights of a Thousand Lights

While the last light of day still colors the gardens, the flames of more than 2000 candles gradually illuminate the aisles and reveal boxwood patterns. Villandry invites you on a walk punctuated by the animations, closed by a firework, promise of a poetic evening.

From 8 pm :

• Giant wooden games in the Courtyard – Cie Ludoludam
• Guided tours of the gardens, with the guides of Villandry
• « The four seasons on stilts », and other surprises in the gardens… – strolls and sketches, with Acta Fabula
• « Celestial blooming » : when the night comes down, by the water garden, the shape of a giant lotus flower slowly appears, and treats the audience to a poetic surprise…  – with Compagnie Inkonito
• Firework display (10.30 pm) – by Pyroconcept

Please note that on the “Nights of Thousand lights” days, the castle and gardens will exceptionally close at 6 p.m, and re-open at 8 p.m for the evening.
